The Agricultural Olive Cooperative of Stavromenou is located in the wider area of ​​Sitia in the prefecture of Lasithi.

The Cooperative was founded in 1975 and currently consists of 199 members. It has privately owned facilities in the settlement of Stavromeni where it operates an olive pressing and olive oil production line. With this line, the needs of its farmer-members are covered and producers of the surrounding area who are not members of the cooperative are also served.
Of the above members of the cooperative, 54 producer members participated in the establishment of the Organization of Producers and Table Olives, disposing of 2,123.4 acres

More specifically, the range of activities of the Organization concerns the following:

Olive fruit gathering
Pressing-milling of olive fruit
Storage - marketing of olive oil
All of the aforementioned activities of the Organization are served in the existing logistical infrastructures:

at the headquarters of the cooperative 34 sq.m
in the olive mill of 155 square meters with a capacity of 6 tn of fruit/hour
in the storage areas of approximately 150 sq.m
